I’m excited to share my portfolio once again for the Digital Media & Communications role! In this collection, I’ve highlighted some of my work, including social media posts, corporate visuals, newsletters, and articles. While I’ve shared some of this before, I wanted to present it in this format as a way to showcase my skills more clearly. Before diving into some of the ideas I’d love to explore at CFBN and Bigger Table, I hope this gives you a glimpse of the creativity and strategic approach I bring to communications!

Media Materials
During my time at Shedd Aquarium, I contributed to the development of press releases and communication materialsfor various exhibits and special initiatives. My role involved crafting compelling narratives, ensuring media engagement, and aligning messaging with Shedd’s mission.

During my time as a writer for The Stentor newsletter, I authored several articles, including this one, which garnered significant attention from readers. This piece showcases both my journalistic writing skills and my ability to conduct insightful interviews, crafting compelling narratives that engage audiences.
My commitment to advocacy and community impact in Chicago is reflected in my communication work. During my time at Chicago CRED, I co-authored a policy memo advocating for a tax on gun sales in Illinois. This memo was designed to inform and engage stakeholders, coalition partners, and the general public, providing a clear, research-backed case for policy change.
Newsletters
During my time at Shedd Aquarium, I managed the internal communications newsletters Tidings and Tidepool. These weekly publications were designed to foster engagement among staff by promoting the organization’s core values of compassion, curiosity, and conservation.
This role required a combination of editorial, project management, and technical expertise. I curated and edited engaging stories, announcements, and updates while ensuring multi-platform distribution. The newsletters were published via Wordfly for email distribution, SharePoint for the internal intranet, and BrightSign for gallery screens across the aquarium.
Through this experience, I helped enhance Shedd’s internal engagement, ensuring over 500+ staff members stayed informed and connected.

Chicago CRED Newsletter
This is a newsletter I created for Chicago CRED, designedfor corporate audiences to highlight participant successstories and employee experiences.
Corporate Visuals
I designed this informational pamphlet for ICAway to be presented at a conference and featured across the company’s media platforms. The piece highlights career development challenges for international students, backed by key statistics and strategic solutions. It serves as both an educational resource and a marketing tool, reinforcing ICAway’s leadership in international student career coaching through partnerships with career centers, legal experts, and industry organizations.
Additionally, I created a social media poster for ICOY, announcing its partnership with OneGoal and promoting the impact of their collaboration. This design helped enhance visibility and engagement, emphasizing the shared mission of expanding educational and career opportunities.
